Product Description

High Definition Professional Cat5e or Cat6 Extender


Carry full high definition signals over 50m (1080p) or 100m (1080i) using only one pair of CAT5e or CAT6 cables.

This HDMI™ CAT 5e Extender Set uses CAT-5E/6 cables as the transmission media enabling easy HDMI™ installation over long distances. The use of  CAT5e/6 cables gives the installer greater flexibility than if HDMI cables are used as HDMI cables are fixed length and must be specified before installation. CAT5e/6 cables can be customised to length on site. The system will auto adjust feedback, equalization and amplify. One pair is a full functional plug’n play module.
  • Transmission distance for 1080p reaches up to 115 ft/35m with CAT5E or 165 ft/50m with CAT6.
  • Transmission over 100m for 1080i.
  • Signaling rates up to 2.25Gbits in support of 1080P display.
  • Follows the IEEE-568B standard.
  • HDCP compliant

Note that two CAT5e or CAT6 cables are required to carry full HDMI including sound between these two units.
